NODI is Italian for nodes. With NODI we are building a network of Open Data. Details about the work on NODI can be found below.

There are now 17 cantons and some federal agencies offering geodata as open data (or under similar conditions). In total, the 17 cantons cover 80% of the population or over two-thirds of the national territory! But: So far, there was no WebGIS application or site integrating and illustrating all this data in one place. Now there are several ones:

• NODI Switzerland
• NODI Berne
• NODI Zurich

The data from the cantons' official cadastral survey with open data policy (or similar) are updated daily (update by municipality). The following services are provided with NODI:

• WMTS:
  • Cadastral survey black & white (Plan for the land register as specified on cadatre.ch)
  • Cadastral survey color
• WMS:
  • Cadastral survey black & white and color (base for WMTS)
  • Cadastral survey black & white and color optimized for printing to scale
  • Cadastral survey yellow
  • Planned buildings
  • Planned parcels
  • Building insurance numbers
  • Swiss building ID EGID
  • Numbers of surveying points
  • Localization map (house numbers and related streets)
  • Land cover
  • Vintage of the official cadastral survey data by municipalities, with the following information:
    • last update
    • number of imported objects
    • duration of import process with FME from INTERLIS to PostGIS [s]

• House numbers & addresses (weekly)
• Administrative borders (yearly)
• ZIP areas (yearly)
• Historical aerial images swisstopo (none)
• Inventory of cultural goods (none)
• Street and rail noise (2015)
